Album Review: Various Artists (Fresh to Def ) Hall of Fame 2 ft Da Les hosted by DJ Envy

Da Les has released a second complication of  Hall of Fame 2 featuring various artists and is hosted alongside DJ Envy.  The album dropped this Friday featuring all the Fresh 2 Def family. Major Features from the likes of heavy weights DJ Double D, Yanga the Chief , Maggz, Youngstacpt, A-Reece, Tellaman, L-Tido, 2Leestark, Gemini Major , Stogie T , G Baby Da Siliva , Flame , EX Global, Beenie Man, Buffalo Souljah, Tay Grin , Zani and Khuli Chana.




The album has 15 Tracks about 59 minutes worthy.  The album is released as a boost for the announcement of his Fresh 2 Def Hall Of Fame Tour . Rapper Da LES few weeks ago  took to Instagram to deliver the news with a photo of the tour dates, which spans from April until May. 
















In my personal opinion I say a whole lot good things about Les because he honestly can be called a legend in SA hip hop. Les has been reinventing himself and always adapting each and every year with no fail.  Unlike the first installment of Hall of Fame, when I listened to this album I felt that some of the songs were rushed, not much passion in it. The artists where feeling that they could make this album seemingly be hit after hit.  Sometimes the artists you invite to do an album - no matter how much influence they have in the music industry and projects they have released themselves were great, sometimes it isn't so great.  I have fav songs on the album which include Take it , Slam Dunk , Bombastic which has a lovely reggae feel, Top as well which this song will be a club banger.  Overall the project is good work and includes the music is a mix of sounds and influences of the distinct brands.
